MOSCOW, Jan 17 (PRIME) -- China has opened the market for imports of Russian beef, Russia’s Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Oversight said in a statement on Friday.
“The General Administration of Customs of China sent a letter on January 17, 2020 on approval of a protocol between the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Oversight and the General Administration of Customs of China on a check, quarantine, and veterinary and sanitary requirements to the beef exported from the Russian Federation to the People’s Republic of China, and a corresponding certificate,” the Russian watchdog said.
The Chinese ruler also authorized two Russian companies to start shipments from Friday.
